The glass bowls come out of the cupboard. A fridge door swings open and a carton of eggs and gallon of milk is carried to the granite countertops. The measuring cups, spoons, whisks and other utensils exit their designated drawers and unite by the recipe book. It can only mean one thing. It’s cooking time.

Over 200 Reynolds Plantation members braved the weather and gathered at the recently renovated Great Waters Clubhouse for some great food, fun, and beautiful fireworks at the community’s 25th Anniversary Event on Saturday, September 21st. For the Lake Oconee Anglers, it’s a lot more than being “a club.” Sure, this group gets together regularly for fish tournaments and competitions on the lake. But there’s a lot more attention paid above the surface of the lake as well by this avid group of anglers.
